Round 13 - North Perth vs Belmont Villa Reserves

This has got to go down as the hardest game for me to accept this season.

We have been the better team in many of our games so far this season but this is the first time where we have dominated for 99% of the game.

For a goal keeper to be pinned for time wasting in the first 5-10 minutes of a game is rediculous. The penalty that was given against us was interesting when you see that the ball was clearly the only thing touched and flew for a corner. But then for the penalty to be retaken after being saved was purely bemusing. I nearly forgave the guys for getting up tight at the referee. Both decisions came against the run of play.

We did score in the first half but it must be said that Dudi's shots are becoming more and more desirable. Not for his ability to score but for the ability to attract the opposition into getting a touch and turning them into their own net.

2-1 at half time and I was pleased with the players performance. The style of play and intensity was second to none. The chances created were unbelievable.

The second half was probably even more one sided for us. But the lack of finishing is making me very grey and I will need to dye my hair before long.

I have to keep my head up and so should you.

The coaching staff have been around for a long time and we have never been involved with a team tham plays so well, has so much heart but has been soooo unlucky in front of goal.

North Perth is just another team this season that is thanking God/Allah that they were able to dodge a bullet.

Heads up boys. We are a top four team perfomance wise. Just a pitty the perfomance isn't turning out the results you deserve.
